Heckmondwike FB’s acoustic option for tiles is a sound solution

Share

Heckmondwike FB, the UK’s leading fibre bonded carpet manufacturer, has released an acoustic option for its complete carpet tile range. This latest innovation, which will be welcomed by specifiers in the education, public sector and office sectors, will see carpet tiles featuring an acoustic layer to help keep noise transmission to an acceptable level.

When used in the workplace, the tiles’ sound deadening abilities will also make it easier for organisations to meet the 2006 ‘Noise at Work’ regulations, ensuring a healthy and productive environment.

Sharni Verity, Marketing Manager at Heckmondwike FB, said: “Many of our carpet ranges have acoustic properties but this is the first time it has been applied to a carpet tile.  We released this exciting new innovation in response to demand from specifiers working in education, public sector and office environments, as noise transmission is a growing problem in many different settings.”

Each of Heckmondwike FB’s 11 carpet tile ranges will be available with an acoustic option including Supacord, which is widely specified in the education sector, and Array and Night Sky, from the company’s creative range. Other carpet tile ranges which will benefit from the added acoustic option include Broadrib, Hobnail and the company’s popular entrance tile range, Diamond.

Heckmondwike FB is one of the leading carpet suppliers to the education, commercial and public sectors and is well-known for the excellent value, durability and high performance of its products.
