Leading entrance door manufacturer RK Door Systems have launched their long awaited PIVOT door range to sit alongside their ENTRE and EXCELLENCE hinged doors. Using the same German profile and components, the new pivot doors achieve excellent thermal performance and are also highly secure as standard having received PAS24:2016 certification and Secured By Design accreditation for all 3 ranges.
Furthermore to assist architects and specifiers, RK Door Systems are listed on the RIBA product selector, NBS plus and NBS National BIM Library.
The company has a showroom at its base in Truro, two others at Crawley, West Sussex, and Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, as well as a permanent stand at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre, Swindon.
In addition, it has been establishing a network of dealers around the country to help display their range of products – making it easier and more convenient for discerning customers to see the many choices available to meet their own particular requirements and needs.
Most recently, the company has been working to establish direct links with architects and developers to expand its business and become a supplier of choice on high-end building developments.
RK Sales Director, Max Ellis, who is leading the charge to expand the business into high-end developments, said they were investing heavily in new build because that’s where they see the fastest area of growth.
As part of this initiative, their Entre, Excellence and Pivot suites have all achieved PAS24:2016 standards of security and been accredited by Secured by Design, the national police crime prevention initiative.
“I have been brought in to get in front of architects and developers and tell them about our depth of experience and the quality of our products as well as meeting customers’ growing requirements for safety and security too.
“We know we have excellent products to shout about and Secured by Design provides us with a coveted endorsement from a security perspective. We wanted our entire suite to be accredited by Secured by Design, not just one or two doors in our range. We want to tell our customers all our doors are secure and if we do something, we do it properly and thoroughly.”
In addition to the new door types, the launch includes a new Elite range of finishes including ceramic and special metal finishes including textured bronze, copper and rustic steel to name a few.
