SARACEN’S DESIGNS WIN OVER LONDON CREATIVE AGENCY

Share

Saracen Interiors has completed a fast-track, refurbishment project for creative agency, Creature of London. Work was completed in just four weeks, with the leading workplace consultant liaising closely with Creature to make sure the overall vision of the office project was met while ensuring that the agency’s staff suffered minimum disruption to enable a ‘business as usual’ approach.

Key aspects of the project included a wood-lined den, complete with television and scatter cushions, an extended kitchen area, doubling the original kitchen size, pinnable plywood walls and the supply of bespoke desks and pedestals. The walls were made from old-fashioned, pressed paper fibre board, sourced and supplied by the interiors expert. Lighting and flooring was also installed throughout and all work was completed on time and within budget.

Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page comments: “We wanted to provide Creature with a design which was functional as well as creative, taking into account the high level of team interaction and client interaction. The idea for a den was floated early on and met with a good reception as it provides an innovative working space. The agency proved to be a great client to work with as all of the improvements mooted, including the kitchen and the den, were aimed at benefiting the staff, first and foremost, which gave us a great shared goal – to provide an environment that would encourage and inspire the team.”

Bex Reichwald of Creature of London is delighted with the end result: “Saracen’s project manager spent time really getting to know us in order to fully evaluate our requirement and to come up with suggestions that will make a difference, going forward, to the smooth running of the working day. The ply walls throughout are a boon for our designers who are constantly coming up with ideas and creating but are always running out of space for post-its.

“Even the entrance door to the meeting room is made of ply, giving it the appearance of a secret door and adding to the overall effect. This office environment will help us to raise our game and is worthy of an up and coming, creative, London brand. We’re looking forward to welcoming clients to the premises.”
