ESP Timber Treatments

Is a collaboration betwee nGloucester Timber Company (Nicks) and Protek, formed to help solve two of the most important problems for the Timber Industry?

  • Chinese Exterior Quality Plywood De-Laminating
  • Pre-Treated Timber rotting at recut untreated ends

Our ESP tells us the answers to these issues are ESP Panels and ESP Timber

As the world turns to greener building materials there is only one truly carbon negative one to choose from – timber.  The longer the timber or timber based product lasts the better for; the planet, the structure built, your reputation as a vendor of quality products.  Good site practise insists all treated timber is re-treated if cut and the same can now be applied to all sheet materials, all edges of all sheets should be sealed.

Why ESP Panels™?

  • With the market for plywood increasing year on year, there is a vast array of Grades to choose from (with over 50% coming from china)
  • To be safe, specifiers have been over-engineering the plywood to be used to make up for the historic unreliable quality issues
  • When water or moisture enters plywood it splits the glue-line compromising its strength with potentially catastrophic consequences
  • There has never been a sealant specifically designed to prevent water from entering the inner core of panels – until now
  • Tested by TRADA™
  • Proven to prevent water/moisture ingress and thus improve the strength and longevity of panel products
  • Reduce claims for poor plywood by recommending and selling ESP Panelswith every pack of plywood
  • Save money by not over-specifying the grade of plywood to be used
  • Increase you confidence in the strength of the sheet materials used
  • ESP Panel also acts as a glue sealing joints in flat roofs to keep everything below it dry
  • 1 litre seals 21 sheets of 18mm plywood
