Sound Wave, an Innovative bath audio system

Launched at ISH in Frankfurt in March 2013, Sound Wave is the first audio system for Kaldewei 3.5mm steel enamel baths that plays music from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as tablets, smartphones or laptops. With the bath acting as the sound box, it provides an audio experience with a difference – with or without water. In fact, indulging in a relaxing bath listening to music via Sound Wave the sounds are more than audible – they can be gently felt through the bath water, opening up a whole new experience of wellbeing for the senses.
Comprising two transducers, six acoustic panels, a control box and a receiver, Sound Wave is quick and easy to combine with any Kaldewei bath model and delivers natural sounds of the highest quality. The sound system is simply operated via the audio device after activation of the Bluetooth function, selecting “Sound Wave” and connecting it using the code supplied. Sound Wave then automatically recognises the playback device from the next use. It is a practical solution especially for large families with different tastes in music as you can pair up to 8 Bluetooth devices per household.
