Artifact Lighting is an independent lighting Company. Which started life working in the art of vintage industrial salvage and restoration. After working in this area for several years we started to design and make our own lighting. Applying the ideals and principles of vintage industrial lighting to contemporary design. We started working with new materials and new colours all the time maintaining the high build quality and beautiful aesthetic of industries past.
With our understanding of lighting we not only offer a product range but can also bespoke products. We enjoy working with interior designers, lighting designers and architects allowing us to tailer products to their interior and create unique feature pieces. One such example of our work was with the Wool House where we create a unique lighting concept, products and feature pieces to the clients brief.
Our product range is continually being improved as we strive to offer the best mix of contemporary industrial lighting. We are especially proud of our coolion pendant lights – available in our six colours and copper finishes. Like all our products we can provide these in other colours and finishes should the job require.
We will in 2016 be improving our wall light range. Our Mek Elek wall light which will soon be available in the same 6 colours as our cooiocns. Currently it is only in copper, grey and aluminium.
Also Our super sized factory light will again be avail be in more colours.
We also have had amazing success with our prismatic range which is based on aesthetic appeal of prismatic glass.
Prismatic glass was originally designed for industry, where the glass prisms would provide a combination of uplight and downlight to illuminate any environment evenly, without creating dark spots or glare.
