BMF Firing Up For Zero Carbon New Builds

Share

As anyone involved in home building is well aware, the Government has set targets for new-build housing to be zero carbon from 2016.

It’s leading many architects and specifiers to consider how incorporating wood burning stoves into designs can help them achieve that objective.

BMF offers a free service to help professionals find the right stove or fireplace for their project. Ben Freeman, co-owner at BMF, explains: “A wood burning stove can heat anything from one room to a whole house. At BMF we have a wealth of knowledge and can specify and supply fires and stoves from a wide selection of the world’s top manufacturers. This includes products suitable for the most eco-friendly of developments, ensuring you choose a product that suits not only the style of your plans, but also provides the heat output the property requires.”

BMF can also help design and supply the appropriate flue system, taking into consideration all the necessary regulations and health and safety requirements, as well as designing, supplying and, if required, installing custom-made fireplaces and surrounds, made from steel to stone.

Some of the most exclusive and sought after stove and fireplace manufacturers across the world are available from BMF, including Stuv, Bodart & Gonay, Piazzetta, M-design, J Rotherhams, Rais, Harrie Leenders, Clearview and Town & Country.
