The latest in handrail technology, BPI ‘Stargard-Flex’ is a fully flexible to 90° PVC sleeved handrail system, that can be flexed and adapted by hand onsite, streamlining installation while being DDA compliant. It doesn’t rely on components and offers a smooth and continuous finish.
Boasting a ‘warmer to touch’ in comparison to traditional stainless steel or powder coated handrails, BPI ‘Stargard’ is manufactured to last and ideal for improving accessibility. Available in 42mm & 50mm DIA, BPI ‘Stargard’ consists of a tubular system fabricated from galvanized steel, which is fully sleeved with 4mm thick (4,000 Microns) PVC after fabrication giving double protection.
Minimise the need for lengthy onsite surveys, that often can cost a project time and additional resource, BPI ‘Stargard-Flex’ can fully be adjusted by installers onsite without the need for additional components, unlike other alternatives.
Suitable to be installed in high-traffic and harsh weather, such as coastal or humid environments, our PVC coated handrail system is anti-chip and can withstand continuous use. A great choice for school corridor handrails, railway stations, shopping centres and other commercial projects.
Available in a range of UV stable and high contrast colours, BPI handrails will improve accessibility, supporting a range of users with a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing yet durable and safe handrail system.
Already being used across a range of Southwestern Railways, commercial buildings and education organisations, BPI ‘Stargard-Flex’ handrail will cut installation time, improve accessibility and is a long-lasting alternative to traditional and outdated handrail systems.
Exclusively available through BPI or F.H.Brundles, ‘Stargard’ is a popular choice for updating old, unsafe and tired handrail systems to meet DDA compliance regulations.
