Cool Breeze – Reducing Over Heating

Share

Vectaire’s Cool Breeze and Cool Breeze Plus are effective solutions for mitigating overheating in residential properties, particularly during summer months.  They meet the standards used in CIBSE TM59 assessments and Approved Document O of the Building Regulations.  They use R290, an eco friendly refrigerant over 225 times more environmentally friendly than R32.

Manufactured in the UK, they are for floor or wall mounting and integrate seamlessly with a Vectaire Maxi (or Maxi Plus) MVHR, offering a compact and energy-efficient approach to indoor temperature regulation. The self-contained, sealed-for-life system, delivers up to 4.1 kW (or 4.3 kW) total cooling capacity without the need for an external condenser.

To determine when cooling is required Cool Breeze units automatically sense the temperature of both the room and the incoming fresh air (via an integral sensor thus avoiding false activation from a poorly sited external thermostat) .  Heat is removed from the supply air allowing the MVHR to distribute the cooled air throughout the property.  This provides a consistently comfortable indoor temperature for residents.

They are easy to install with an optional manual override for user preference and a very quiet integral condenser.  Servicing is front access and they have universal handing using intelligent software.

Vectaire MVHRs ensure good indoor air quality in every type of domestic environment complying with UK Building Regulations for mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.  They help control condensation, tackle mould, extract pollutants and replace stale air with fresh air.

A Cool Breeze system is ideally suited for use in new-build and retrofit applications where regulatory compliance and system efficiency are critical.
