Decseal waterproofing for IKEA car park

A project to install a protective dual function waterproofing and anti-skid system to the car park of the IKEA store near Leeds has been completed using Stirling Lloyd’s Decseal.
The advanced methyl methacrylate resin-based Decseal system has been applied by Stirling Lloyd Construction to the 6,300m² top deck of the car park. Liquid applied Decseal easily copes with the awkward contours, profiles and joints associated with multi storey car parks, decks and ramps.
As well as for its track record of success, Decseal was specified because it could be pigmented with IKEA’s distinctive yellow and blue corporate colours to match the store fascade. The system’s rapid application and fast cure benefits allowed Stirling Lloyd Construction to hand over the completed project within the five week schedule.
