This new £55m custody suite and divisional HQ building has achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating with sustainable techniques adopted including the installation of wind turbines, photovoltaic cells and a biomass boiler. Heating is delivered by energy-efficient, low mass, fast response Jaga heating solutions.
In the large open-plan office areas, Jaga Strada Low-H20 heat exchangers, built-in to a wooden casing, run around the perimeter of each floor. Dummy Strada front panels complete the stylish appearance.
Jaga Oxygen Refresh Units were positioned on top of the Strada heat exchangers, and are core to the building’s ventilation strategy by ensuring that indoor air quality is actively controlled to remain at optimum levels.
Also contributing to the healthy working atmosphere are Jaga’s wall-mounted Briza and Brise hybrid heating solutions which provide heat in the winter and refreshing cooling in the summer.
For changing rooms, stairways and toilet areas, Tempo LST and the Cocoon LST radiators provide safe, energy-efficient heating yet always remain cool to touch.
