Ideal Standard ups the Tempo with new brassware range

Ideal Standard, the leading provider of innovative and design-driven bathroom solutions has unveiled a new full brassware range to complement the Tempo ceramics and bathing products unveiled earlier this year.
The new fittings range has already won a prestigious iF Design Award – the internationally recognized label for outstanding achievements in design. The new range won the European Gold award under the ‘CERAPLAN III’ brand name, which is what it is referred to as outside the UK.
Tempo’s complete brassware collection consists of 10 new products including both single lever and dual control models. With soft-edge design, all products in the collection work with both softer round and harder cubic basins and suites, allowing customers to easily create individual bathrooms.
The innovatively designed collection has been created to be completely intuitive through the use of lever handles on single lever control and soft form shaped handles on dual control fitting with clear markings. All of the fittings are designed to be compatible with both round and square designs, in addition to just the Tempo bathroom collection, alone
In line with Ideal Standard’s commitment to water saving, Tempo basin mixers come with 5lpm Eco flow regulator, allowing them to save water as standard. However they are still suitable for low pressure systems, as a flow straightener, is provided in the box.
Seamless installation is at the heart of the new range which uses Easyfix technology. One tap hole fittings allow for one hand under basin installation, for single lever or dual control mixers.
Pillar taps and dual control fittings also have soft edge handles which are much more intuitive for rotation compared to a lever style handle.
