Share

Interior Film from David Clouting has been used for many refurbishment applications; from shops and restaurants to hotels and even airports  … its popularity and range of applications recently brought it to the attention of the Wild Group who used Interior Film, which is certified for use in the marine industry, in the refurbishment of a luxury superyacht.

The Wild Group is a pioneering exterior and interior vinyl yacht finishing company with offices in the UK, Monaco and New Zealand. The company recently undertook the interior refurbishment of a 38 m classic Feadship yacht on behalf of Pendennis, a world renowned custom build and refit superyacht yard based in Falmouth.

Interior Film manufactured by LG Hausys, is an innovative self-adhesive, decorative film, quick and easy to install. It’s so versatile it can be applied to almost any interior surface including: wood, metals, plasterboard, plastics and even melamine.

This enables feature walls, staircases, office doors, furniture, skirting and architrave to be attractively and quickly refurbished at a fraction of the cost it would take to replace them.

As part of the refurbishment of the Feadship superyacht, Interior Film was used to refurbish a series of staircases leading to rooms below deck, its excellent flexibility and adhesion provided the perfect finish, even to the complex shapes of the staircase.

Easy to clean and maintain Interior Film is hardwearing and remains stable if exposed to heat, humidity or low temperatures.

Air free technology enables Interior Film to be easily applied to give a superb bubble free surface.

Available in a range of over 400 designs and finishes, Interior Film is available to view on the BIMSTORE website and is also CE and IMO Certified so can be specified with confidence across a wide range of applications.
