OFFICE PRINCIPLES DESIGNS ‘GAME CHANGING’ CO-WORKING SPACE FOR COOPER PARRY

Share

Award-winning design, fit out and workplace firm, Office Principles has completed a project designed to help leading accountant and disruptor, Cooper Parry to revolutionise the way it works.

Working from an initial brief to change the established meeting space of Cooper Parry’s ground floor working area, Office Principles removed the reception desk and took down partitions to create a free-flowing co-working environment.

This new space is designed to shake up the traditional working methods and systems, encouraging interdepartmental working while creating the opportunity for clients and visitors to work from the same space, allowing for networking and idea sharing.

Work was completed within an eight-week period and included weekends and nights to accommodate a phased process of occupation.

Office Principles’ business development director, Gary Tailby explains: “We’ve built a pretty strong relationship with this client and they know we will go above and beyond to ensure that work is carried out efficiently. The leading factor was the design.

“Cooper Parry was keen to drive a people-led design focus that would make the best use of space, while manifesting its reputation as a disruptor that creates new industry firsts.”

Ade Cheatham, CEO for Cooper Parry reflects: “We were keen to create a space that would suit the changing workforce; embracing a new, evolved style of working with an environment that would attract like-minded people – and encourage them to engage.

“As a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company, we wanted to demonstrate a bold vision and an understanding of how workers want to work. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The clients and the team love the new space.”

Office Principles is expert at creating agile workspaces and has developed a strong and varied commercial portfolio over the years to include blue-chip brands such as Exterion Media, Telegraph Media Group, Visa Europe, GE Capital, Fitness First, Tata Communications, ResMed, Direct Marketing Association, Land Securities, Mothercare, and Kuoni.
