Maggie Bollaert is dedicated to the discovery and promotion of hyper realist artists, whom she seeks out around the world.
NEWS OF FORTHCOMING EXHIBITIONS at PLUS ONE :
26th October – 12th November 2016 ELENA MOLINARI – dramatic still lifes for contemporary interiors. Her paintings show a technical mastery in a bold style equalling Dutch Old Masters of the 17th century Golden Age.
23rd November to 1Oth December CARL LAUBIN solo show, recognised as one of the finest architectural painters of all time, known for the virtuosity of his capricci (architectural fantasy paintings combining buildings, ruins, and elements of fiction).
Commissioned by such institutions as the Pompidou Centre, Castle Howard, Duchy of Cornwall and the National Trust. He has made capricci based on world greats such as Christopher Wren, Palladio, Lutyens and Vanbrugh.
Exhibition inspired by a new discovery, neo-classical master Leo von Klenze, who transformed the City of Munich in the 18th century, and as a complete contrast, paintings based on a workers’ housing project designed by the towering figure of modernism Le Corbusier.
