Portuguese company EFFISUS awarded in UK

Portuguese Excellence products recognized in the UK.

The Ecofaçade FR Envelope System façade waterproofing solution from Vila Nova de Famalicão-based Portuguese company EFFISUS, has been recognized by the prestigious Society of Façade Engineering in the UK as Product of the Year 2022!

EFFISUS develops and markets integrated solutions for waterproofing and sealing buildings, always bearing in mind two basic principles – sustainability and efficiency.

In the marketplace since 2005, EFFISUS aims to add value to the construction market, meeting the diverse needs of customers, differentiating itself from the competition by offering solutions to any number of infiltration problems, and offering a full consulting service with technical proposals tailored to each project.

With the ever increasing demands of the market and having as a basic tenet close relationships with its customers, EFFISUS has driven the expansion of its brand into international territory, being part of key projects in all four corners of the world. Collaboration with national and international partners is evidenced by our participation in iconic projects such as: the Hudson Yards in New York, Dublin Airport in Ireland, Battersea Power Station in London, the Museum of the Future, and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, among many others.

In 2019 we opened a branch in Dubai, ensuring total coverage in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), while in 2020 we launched our London office to be able to work even more closely with customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Driven by excellence and innovation, the brand is distinguished by its state-of-the-art, high-performance solutions; we already have two patents developed by our technical team – Effisus Stopper and Effisus Bolt Protect.

Always bearing in mind the principle of internationalization, Effisus seeks to comply with the regulations and quality certifications of each market in which we operate, so that we can offer our clients the highest quality technology on the market, offering security and establishing solid relationships with our partners. Among the certifications we can highlight: BBA and LABC in the United Kingdom, Dubai Civil Defense in Dubai, Socotec and CE Marking in Europe, among many others.

As a pioneer in the façade sector, Effisus is also the market leader for integrated systems with fire classification Class A2, s1-d0, in accordance with EN 13501-1 standard for the cladding of building façades; solutions such as the Effisus Vapour FR system, a vapour and water barrier system which protects the building façade from condensation; and the Breather FR system, a breathable system that protects the façade from humidity, rain and wind. These systems together make up the “Effisus Ecofaçade FR System” garlanded by the prestigious Society of Facade Engineers in the UK.
