RigiSystems provides finishing touch for St Albert the Great

RigiSystems Ziplok aluminium standing seam roofing has been used to provide the crowning glory to St Albert the Great Catholic Primary School in Hemel Hempstead.
The Ziplok was site rolled in single lengths from eaves to eaves, in lengths of 46m on the main roof in a combined convex and concave wave format.
The roof was supported on acoustic structural decking in 0.75mm thick steel x 100mm deep trapezoidal profile, with thermal Insulation material to achieve 0.23 U value. RigiSystems Micromatt finish was used on the Ziplok to provide a pre-weathered appearance to the whole building.
RigiSystems Ziplok continues to be used extensively in the education sector, where its acoustic and thermal properties, combined with recyclability and pleasing aesthetics, make it an ideal choice for the specific needs of this marketplace.
The roofing was installed by Britannia Site Solutions for main contractor T&E Neville. Architect was Archial Group.
