Schlüter-Systems’ launches new space-saving shower solution for architects

Share

To help combat architectural challenges, Schlüter-Systems, the specialists in tile and stone accessories and wetroom installations, has launched its new range of shower boards, the Schlüter®-KERDI-SHOWER-LTS. This launch comes in direct response to calls from architects to make it easier for them to deal with floor build up challenges when installing showers and wetrooms.

The KERDI-SHOWER-LTS is a preformed shower tray which can be used in conjunction with linear drains. The sloped design allows for level entry and low floor build up; a problem often raised by architects.

Not only does the shower board offer uniformity and consistency – ideal for large-scale projects – but, when paired with Schlüter®-KERDI-LINE-G3 drain, the low height offering can even potentially allow for an extra storey to be created with the additional space available, for buildings such as high-rise hotels. When specifying a project, one thing to consider is how expensive land is – building upwards is often the best way to get return on investment.

The KERDI-SHOWER-LTS is an exciting and welcome addition to the KERDI range, giving architects a long sought-after answer to the build-up problem within construction. The board will be an asset to any architect’s toolkit, with the low height one size fits all version working seamlessly alongside the KERDI-LINE-G3 drain to provide a one-source, fully warrantied solution.
