A standout project is Big Bakes Manchester, an ambitious offshoot of the popular television series The Great British Bake Off. Select Interiors transformed a raw industrial space into an interactive, experience-based venue, offering a unique leisure experience for both corporate clients and the public. The project involved Cat A (basic building finishes) and Cat B (detailed fit-out) works, including material procurement, installation of raised access floors for technology integration, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, fire strategy, structural steelwork, and lighting. Additionally, Select Interiors managed the Building Control application for a mezzanine floor and staircase, creating elevated dining, training, and event spaces.

The design also featured bespoke joinery, resin bar tops, custom shelving, Amtico acoustic flooring with hexagonal designs, banquette seating with a central tree feature, and fully equipped baking stations for hands-on experiences central to the Big Bakes concept.
