Shelley Signs specialise in the design and production of signs and graphics for public open spaces with products that educate, inform & guide visitors. An introduction to the product range is given below with customers including Local Authorities, Parish Councils, contractors, Trusts, Friends Group and graphic designers.

Shelley Signs understand the requirements for aesthetically pleasing products that are highly durable and easy to clean and maintain. Full colour printed panels are produced in Encapsulated GRP which has a 10 year warranty against fading and are paired with a wide variety of framing options and materials.

Interpretation Panels: To inform & educate visitors about a site, panels can be produced from your own artwork or using the in-house Shelley design service. Panels are printed & encapsulated in GRP which gives a high quality, vibrant print with excellent colour fastness. A wide variety of framing options are available with the most popular materials being Oak & Accoya, powder coated aluminium or recycled plastic. Lectern frames, vertically mounted frames & wall mounted frames can be supplied in all materials.

Finger Posts: To help direct visitors around a site Finger Posts are a simple and effective solution. The most popular materials are Oak, treated softwood, recycled plastic & aluminium. The timber and plastic options are supplied with routed / indented text, painted to suit and with fingers morticed into the posts. The aluminium options are supplied with brackets and printed or vinyl graphics.

Notice Boards: Are used to display your own changeable displays and pages – they are normally sized on the number of A4 sheets to be used. Notice boards are hinged, lockable, glazed with shatterproof Polycarbonate and with a pinboard backer. A choice of either Oak & Accoya or powder coated aluminium. Notice boards can we wall mounted or supplied with posts. Open pinboards are also available.

Timber Signs: Timber signs provide an opportunity to install highly individual & distinctive graphics. The main materials on offer are Oak & Cedar, with both options sourced from either FSC or sustainably managed sources. Shelley use combinations of CNC routing and sandblasting to finish signs with a tactile and attractive finish. Products can range from simple entrance & directional signs to highly detailed, tactile maps & interpretation panels. An interesting option is combining decorated timber frames with full colour printed GRP panels.

Gauge Boards: Used for measuring the depths of rivers, reservoirs, docks, harbours and marinas Shelley produce a range of gauge boards and can supply posts where appropriate. Products are also available to comply with Fords & Floods boards as per the Traffic Signs Regulations. This product range is an excellent example of the high levels of durability provided by the encapsulated GRP material.

Waymarkers & Bollards: Help direct visitors around sites in a low key, simple manner. Waymarker discs are usually 76mm diameter and can be produced in either standard PVC or our robust Encapsulated GRP material. Designs range from simple arrows to more individual, complex designs incorporating text, logos or QR Codes. Bollards are produced in oak, treated softwood or Recycled Plastic – they can be supplied with weathered tops, routed bands and a combination of rebates for printed discs or routed arrows or text.
