St Helens Rugby Stadium, Lancashire
The stadium which caters for 18,000 fans on match days and offers a host of events and corporate hospitality has installed more than 50 trough urinals from the Chesterfield manufacturer of stainless steel and sold surface sanitaryware.
Centinel wall-hung urinals are manufactured from 1.2mm thick grade austenitic steel and satin polished to resist limescale and staining. Suitable for exposed or concealed pipework and cisterns, the specification at St Helens’required a mix of 9 litres and 13.5 litre cisterns mounted out-of-reach to limit user damage.
Phil White, Stadium Manager at Langtree Park, explains: “Urinals take a battering here on match days – the product needed to be robust, tamper proof and fit for years and years of trouble-free, heavy use. It’s not a glamorous part of the new stadium but essential for anyone who spends time with us. Cleaning protocols, user convenience, efficient wateruse all have to be taken into consideration as does technical support if we have any service issues. ”
