Tiles of Stow – 21st Century Stoneware Architectural Tiling and Paving

Tiles of Stow is always happy to work with architects and designers on innovative projects such as these handmade garden pavers. They were designed by renowned garden designer Juliet Sargeant for her Blue Peter show garden at Chelsea Flower Show in 2022. Her “cracked earth” design was first made into prototypes for her approval and then we went into full scale production using a beautiful toasty colour stoneware clay.

Fired to 1220°C, these stoneware pavers are completely frost proof and will therefore continue to look beautiful for years to come.

The results looked fabulous, and we were so happy to see them installed in the garden. The judges were also impressed by Juliet’s garden and awarded her a Silver-Gilt medal! These are now on permanent display at RHS Bridgewater near Manchester.

Our bespoke tile manufacture takes us in many and varied directions, including bringing to life the very individual ideas our clients have. We love collaborating with them through the design and manufacture process. Our stoneware tiles can be hand-glazed in a wide choice of rich colours and can be used externally as well as within the home to create a contemporary wall finish. We can also create any design or shape on the tile as a decorative finish. Added to this we have a range of finishing trims to complete our stoneware tile collection.
