Share

For 40 Years CLD Fencing Systems has been been innovating the security industry, becoming the leading specialists in security fencing and access control. Supporting projects by protecting spaces, assets, and people, CLD also helps maintain aesthetics with beautiful systems to match surrounding areas, visions, and designs.

From schools to hospitals, heritage sites to store fronts, the company has supported many architects, with fencing to meet the toughest security needs, whilst not compromising on design.

Mary Magdalene School

This all-through school, with children ranging from nursery to sixth form, required a major upgrade in perimeter safety but the architects wanted to give it a modern edge. Their main goal was to demarcate sections of the school, with black coming in as standard, creating a contemporary visual throughout their grounds.

They also wanted to create a modern twist to their play area fencing with some natural looking screening. Partnering with one its approved contractors, CLD was able to incorporate wooden slats into its existing Exempla rigid mesh fence design for a completely bespoke finish.

Hafan Y Coed Mental Health Hospice

The Hafan Y Coed hospice required a high security perimeter fencing system that offered its patients a modern, therapeutic and recovery focused outdoor area for relaxation and leisure.

High security systems can sometimes look intimidating and unwelcoming and this project required the complete opposite. With its wide range of RAL colour options the architect was able to select a colour that would be calming and aesthetically pleasing. However, this high security system has all the safety features like anti-climb and anti-ligature to keep staff and patients safe and secure.

 Brighton Madeira Terrace

Unforgiving coastal weather and neglect had resulted in the cast iron corroding and the concrete cracking in this beautiful heritage piece in Brighton. Madeira Terrace was no longer safe for pedestrians to walk under, and desperately needed a security measure to restrict access so that it could be preserved. Local designers wanted to ensure that the beautiful blue design was not ruined by a functional security fence.

CLD matched the blue and manufactured its anti-climb Securus system in the exact same colour as the historic Madeira Terrace. The special marine grade powder coating not only matches the original architectural features, but ensures the longevity of the fence in the coastal situation.

Iconic 5th Avenue Store in New York

When Presidential elections were taking place over in the states, many shops and stores were preparing themselves for civil unrest and looting. To keep intruders out, many companies’ security teams were opting for the standard boarding of windows and doors. A famous tech brand, with an iconic 5th Avenue store did not want to compromise on its iconic glass frontage. It needed a temporary fencing system that would hold up against crowd control and prevent scaling but would maintain its sleek and modern instantly recognisable glass shop front.

CLD’s innovative anti-climb temporary fencing system in black was the perfect solution. It offered the security required to control the crowds and protect the premises using ballasted bases but keeping the shop frontage visible.
