Vicaima brings a new dimension to door design

Dekordor 3D brings a new dimension to door design, using a moulded polypropylene based finish, which allows striking embossed effects whilst at the same time offering high resistance to water steam, chemicals, mildew, light damage and scratches.

The doors are perfect for anyone looking for something unique and distinctive that will set their scheme apart from the competition. Dekordor 3D includes a variety of finishes, with an embossed design which contrast matt finishes against gloss to stunning effect. The innovative coating being used by Vicaima has been produced using an eco-friendly and recyclable polymer, which is free of formaldehyde, chlorine and iodine. Barry Waddell, Commercial Director at Vicaima, says: ‘These are door designs that you just won’t see anywhere else. They have a great contemporary look and very clean lines. I think they will be particularly successful in the hotel, apartment and prestige housing markets. As well as being beautiful to look at, they are also very quick and easy to clean and extremely durable.’

The processes used in the production of the new Dekordor 3D ensure uniformity of shades and textures and the doors are available in white, black, grey and camel. Dekordor 3D doors are edge banded and are available as part of a door kit or a complete Portaro door set, combining door, frame and architrave. They come with full FSC® and chain of custody certification and the doors are also available with full performance options including fire, security and acoustic accreditations.
