21st century aluminium façades from ALM

Share

The alu-fx® Patina ‘Timeless Collection’ from ALM (HM) fills a gap in the metal façade and roofing markets by providing aluminium with high aesthetic value at low cost. Unlike the many aluminium colours which are normally only available to order, five unique coated finishes are stocked by ALM HM based near London, Dublin and Belfast and Jamestown Metals in Scotland. These have been designed to replicate pre-weathered zinc, oxid copper, steel, bronze and anodised aluminium and are used predominantly for flat or curved standing seams. At 0.7mm thick, alu-fx weighs just 1.9kg/m2 – up to 60% lighter and 50-75% less expensive than other metals. 100kg coils, 600mm wide give a seam centre of 530mm so the product is also ideal for flat lock tiles and shingles. It has Class A1 Fire Classification (EN13501-1) with thicker gauge sheets for non-supported panels available to special order. Call 01992 801927 for samples.
