Balfour Beatty has increased its ability to deliver excellent service to its customers in the West Midlands through the consolidation of key operations in the region.
The UK’s largest infrastructure contractor’s UK Construction division has consolidated three of its regional offices into one in Solihull this month. The newly opened regional headquarters is on the prestigious Blythe Valley Park and brings together Balfour Beatty’s civil engineering, engineering services and construction capabilities.
The move is part of the wider restructure of Balfour Beatty’s UK construction business announced in August last year, which included consolidation of the UK offices portfolio into a new regional structure designed to drive greater collaboration and offer a better service to its customers.
Steve Davies, Balfour Beatty Delivery Unit Regional Managing Director, West Midlands, said: “Responding to our customer requirements and strategic priorities, we are transforming our UK construction business into a more agile, more efficient and more customer-focused business.
“This move of just over 100 employees to a new shared offices in the West Midlands gives us the opportunity to have closer and more efficient working relationships across all parts of our business, and to offer an even better integrated service to our customer.
“We will continue to be a major local employer and develop our strong links with the local communities through the projects we carry out around the region from our new base in Solihull.”
