Berker By Hager Launch Premium Wiring Accessories For Intelligent Homes

Premium wiring accessories range Berker has been introduced by leading electrical solutions and services provider, Hager to complement its building automation offering for exclusive building designs and intelligent homes.

The range includes switches and sensors designed with high-grade materials such as aluminium, glass, and CRYSTALLIZEDTM Swarovski Elements for the more extravagant interiors.

Hager invests heavily in the design of its products, incorporating it into the functionality as well as aesthetics, the Berker acquisition reflects this emphasis on celebrated design. Berker produces a number of switches and sensors utilising KNX control as part of their building automation system, including Hager’s own package, domovea.

The range includes the TS Sensor which is available in Black, Aluminium, Polar White and Crystal Ball, and has a combination of up to eight functions, with a room thermostat and display which are concealed under a smooth surface that can be custom-labelled on request. Loads such as lighting, heating or motors can be controlled with a single touch offering a variety of possibilities through activation.

The B.IQ is another prestige switch in the range which is also available in glass, stainless steel and aluminium, with up to four functional elements. As part of a KNX system many functions can be combined in a single control unit: a temperature controller, information display, tactile sensor and timer. Lighting scenarios and other applications can be adapted to changing needs easily and without any software.

Finally there are the more modest models S1, B.3 and B.7 in the Berker by Hager range which have been designed with elegance and functionality in mind. The S1 has previously set the standard as a modern classic by obtaining an iF-Award and a Good Design Award.
