Come and visit Hanson Formpave at Ecobuild

Visit Hanson Formpave on stand N6077 to see how its permeable paving and sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) can help alleviate the risk of flooding and comply with planning regulations.

The concept behind SUDS is to help prevent flooding by replicating natural systems and processes to drain surface water run-off in a controlled way. Hanson Formpave’s Aquaflow SUDS allows water to drain through the permeable paving blocks and upper filter layer, which cleans the water before being stored within the sub base for release back into the environment. The Aquaflow system is also more cost-effective as, unlike other SUDS, it only requires builders to dig to a depth of 480 millimetres, saving valuable time and money.

As well as Aquaflow, Formpave also offers a large range of block paving – from its EcoGranite range, which contains up to 77 per cent recycled content, to Chartres, which was inspired by the beautiful medieval city of Chartres in France.SUDS diagram 1

“We offer a comprehensive free design service which includes technical and professional advice, preparation of draft proposals and validation of the clients’ own designs.
