Curved Optimas to complement Armstrong Ceiling’s canopies portfolio

Share

Leading interior solutions provider Armstrong World Industries has extended its portfolio of canopy ceilings with the launch of a unique curved system which can be used either convexly or concavely to give ultimate design flexibility.

Manufactured from 82% recycled content, the Optima curved canopy is also highly light reflective at 87%, enabling architects and interior designers to factor in energy savings over artificial light . And because it is easily relocatable and reusable, it is ideal for refurbishment projects.

The Optima curved canopy can be easily installed under plasterboard ceilings, existing grid systems or exposed concrete soffits, either as a concave or convex element, to create spaces within spaces – defined areas within rooms which also localise acoustic requirements since they absorb sound on the front and back.

Acoustically designed to Sound Absorption Class A, to optimise intelligibility and concentration in areas such as offices, atriums or any large, open space, the white 1181x1870x30mm tiles are fire resistant to Euroclass B-s1, d0 and are 90% resistant to humidity.

Quick and easy to install and dismantle, Optima canopies require no special tools for installation and can equally be easily adjusted to cater for a variety of heights and angles.
