Schlüter-KERDI 200 is a popular waterproofing membrane from Schlüter-Systems, ideal for use on walls in bathrooms and shower areas. However, you may not be aware that it is available in three different roll widths – 1m, 1.5m and 2m, offering full flexibility for your project.

The crack bridging membrane is made of soft polyethylene, which has been covered on both sides with a fleece webbing to anchor the membrane in suitable tile adhesive. It can be used as a bonded waterproofing membrane for assembly with tile and stone coverings. Alongside other Schlüter products, it is a fantastic way to create a fully single source wetroom solution from one manufacturer.

If you choose to work with the wider 2m option, you can save some valuable time during installation – in some cases a single piece of Schlüter-KERDI 200 can be enough for use on the entire wall surface. It also provides more reliable waterproofing as the larger size means that there are fewer joins to seal. This equates to fewer points for potential leakage. Another benefit of using the wider roll is that it offers a more uniform flat surface for tiling as there are fewer areas of overlapping membrane, resulting in a much easier and quicker installation overall.
