GOVA-WALL RECYCLED PLASTIC FENCING

The UK supplier of recycled plastic products for the Construction and Marine Sectors, Plasti, is pleased to introduce a unique fencing system offering a number of advantages for domestic, residential or commercial Architectural projects.   The new Gova-Wall Plus system features all the benefits of their existing recycled plastic product ranges – durability, longevity and contemporary finish – but also introduces a simple but effective modular assembly method.

The manufacturer, Govaerts Recycling, has responded to strong demand for a bespoke fencing system to exploit the durable and environmentally positive attributes of the base materials. The project was entrusted to a specialist design organisation that had previously produced designs for successful elements in the Govaerts furniture range. The outcome of this exercise is the Gova-Wall Plus close board fencing system which incorporates a number of unique components made with special production tools.

Gova-Wall consists of a structural post system made from recycled aluminium and boards made from top quality recycled plastic. The boards are available in five colours (black, ash grey, quartz brown, atlas beige and sand beige) which are used throughout the solid construction of the 28mm thick boards for exceptionally long life and durability of finish. Compared with many other fencing systems Gova-Wall offers significant noise attenuation. The standard height is 1.8m, but this can be reduced for lower profile applications. The fencing system can be removed by reversing the assembly method, meaning all elements can be re-used or recycled.

The design of the Gova-Wall system recognises the thermal properties of the high quality recycled HDPE and LDPE from which the plastic components are formed, and the detailing of the system is such that expansion and contraction of the individual components can take place without compromising the structural integrity of the fence. The board panels are reinforced laterally with concealed galvanised steel profiles.
