Following their acquisition of the sole distribution rights for Showerlux Enclosures in the UK late last year, Ideal Bathrooms carried out a complete review of the Showerlux range and pricing structure. As a result many products have benefited from substantial price reductions and the Showerlux range now offers retailers a high quality product to meet customers’ needs for a reputable brand with the style and designs to suit their homes and prices to suit their budgets and with enhanced margins for the trade.At the same time Ideal Bathrooms conducted extensive research into the perception of the brand amongst the trade. This research clearly identified the strength of the brand amongst the legion of plumbers and installers who have long advocated Showerlux for its quality and reliability.
It also became clear that many of these loyal Showerlux customers had experienced an interruption of supply following the closure of the UK offices and were mistakenly under the impression that the brand was no longer available.
To ensure everyone in the trade is fully aware that the Showerlux brand and its products continue to be available Ideal Bathrooms are mounting an intensive campaign to the trade to reinvigorate Showerlux as a key brand in enclosures.
“It is the intention to take the Showerlux brand to new heights and we are investing heavily in a high impact advertising and PR campaign running throughout the spring in key trade magazine” says Ideal Bathrooms’ Commercial Director Danielle Lillis.
A new 44 page inspirational consumer brochure is also being printed to support sales through showrooms and the Showerlux range also features in the CYIB Bathroom Guide. There will also be a “not to be missed” incentive promotion to encourage those loyal installers back to a brand they have long appreciated. “Of course the big differences now are that prices have been revised to be highly competitive in the market and that all Showerlux enclosures are also available on our next day delivery service.” says Danielle “No one in the bathroom business is going to want to miss this promotion – and everyone will be well aware that the new Showerlux remains a sought after brand with a high pedigree. Showerlux is definitely alive and kicking and in stock at Ideal Bathrooms right now.”
