The Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield has been the subject of a multi-million pound refurbishment programme which is due for completion this month.
Castle Building Services, Sheffield, has been responsible for the washrooms refurbishment as part of the improvement and specified bespoke urinals from specialist stainless steel washroom company Franke Washroom Systems also known as Franke Sissons in the local area.
Alan Castleton, Managing Director of Castle Building Services explains “The refurbishment of the washrooms is a prestigious contract for us so we obviously wanted to deliver an outstanding job with products that will perform for many years. Franke Washroom Systems has a long and impressive track record with high quality stainless steel and of course they are local too. ”
The Franke Washroom Systems portfolio of stainless steel washroom and catering products all comply rigorous criteria set by new European Standards. As an early adopter of new CE Mark standards and complies with WRAS and BMA water saving standards too, all products are guaranteed to perform for decades.
The Motorpoint Arena, which is home to The Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Team, and regularly hosts a-list performers like; Michael Buble, Elton John, Rod Stewart and is due to host female comedian Miranda Hart in November 2013, welcomes thousands of visitors every month.

The WCs are one part of the stadium you know everyone will need to visit so it’s critical that products are hardwearing and look great. The urinals used here are part of our Centinel collection and most were made to custom sizes with concealed cisterns to help cut down on damage and vandalism.”
